FingerFood Theme Buffet: Rainbow

Ello!

I'm back with another post for you guys, this time for the FingerFood Theme Buffet!

Let's get to the nails!

I haven't done a watermarble in like what, 2 weeks? I was having withdrawals!

Here's what I used:


Look at how sad my bottle of Fairy Dust is! I might need to get a back up bottle soon.

These nails started with 2 coats of my white polish which I let dry for a while. I then dripped the polishes in the water following the order of ROYGBIV, drew my design in the polish, and dipped each finger. The rhinestones were added to the sides to cover a weird spot on my ring finger and then everything was topped with Fairy Dust.

Okay, so funny story about these nails. Have any of you hurt yourself while doing nail art before? I always tape off my fingers when I do nail art but I couldn't get the tape off of one of my fingers after. So I took some tweezers that I had and tried pulling it off. I ended up accidentally stabbing myself with them and making a nice sized hole in the palm of my hand....Great story, right? I think the nail art is worth it though!

  4. Oh my gosh, that is absolutely gorgeous! I've yet to try a water marble with a more line-y pattern, but you've totally inspired me.

  5. Ooooooh.. I am loving your 'horizontal' watermarble! Most of the times you see swirly patterns but this rainbow 'line' one is just darling. :)

  9. The secret is practice! If you practice enough you can start doing them faster and it's fun!
