The Nail Challenge Collaborative: Tea Party - Week 3

Hello lovelies!

I have a post today and it's Friday! I'm going to try and go to a coffee shop today so I can read some blogs and do my homework. I normally can't get work done in public places though so we'll see how that works out haha.

Anyways, onto the nails!

These nails are so cute and I'm so happy that I can finally post them!

Here's what I used:

And you guys know what's coming next....today's nails were inspired by this pattern that I found on Pinterest. I'm realizing now that a good majority of these patterns on my inspiration board are by the illustrator/designer Helen Dardik and I'm super in love with all of her work. I would definitely check her blog out if you're in need of some inspiration!

These nails started with 2 coats of Sinful Colors's Amethyst, which I think is one of my favorite purple creme polishes. I then added the little place mat on my pinky finger with Lavander and sealed everything in with a layer of HK Girl. Using acrylic paint, I painted on the tea pots, vase, and cup! Everything was sealed in with another layer of HK Girl.

These are more nails that I'm super happy with how they turned out! Some of the nails feel a bit empty to me but I wasn't really super what to add in the background. These nails really make me want to drink a cup of tea right now haha!

Thanks for reading guys and have a lovely weekend!

-Marisa! (:

I love the colours in this. Especially the mustard yellow, great contrast.
Maybe next time just some polka dots in the background? But whatever, still awesome!
Oh, and this weekend I'm making it a goal to try tea with ice cream! I'm thinking a strong Earl Grey with vanilla on top. I will report back!
