31 Day Challenge: Geometric

Hello lovelies!

Okay, so late post again but that's alright because I'm still on track with the 31 Day Challenge!

So, onto the nails! 

Hmmm.....I wonder where I've seen this design before? (;

Here's what I used:

Did you figure it out yet? I did nails based off of my background! Hannah from The Dalai Lama's Nails commented on one of my posts saying that she wanted to see nails based off of my background. I was all like "oh, hey that's a great idea! CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!" when I read it and now, here we are (:

I did make some changes because I wasn't feeling the white and Love, Angeline's Sand Castles is another one of my favorite neutral polishes. So, these started with two coats of Sand Castles and a layer of HK Girl. I cut some chevron Nail Vinyls in half (I lost my straight vinyls -_- ) and placed them for the diagonals. Then using acrylic paint and the detail brush, I painted on the triangles, and peeled the vinyls off when I was done. These were finished with another layer of HK Girl.

Thank you Hannah for the idea because I really liked these nails! It was kind of cool to wear something that I designed on my nails haha. I might have to start looking back through my own patterns!
