31 Day Challenge: Green

Hello lovelies!

I'm super excited about today's nail art so I'm not going to waste anytime with an introduction (:

Onto the nails!

Hopefully you guys are excited because I love these!

Here's what I used:

Okay, so what are your thoughts on this bottle shot? I read a bunch of the comments left on yesterday's post (I promise I'll respond soon! Sorry!) and it seemed like the overall vote was that you guys liked seeing the acrylic paint. Someone also suggested that I show everything so I included the brush I used and my top coat. Is it too much, just right, or you liked it the old way? Let me know! I think I like this setup, I just need to work on a way to photograph it better.

Anyways, these nails started with 2 coats of Color Club's Age Of Aquarius and a layer of HK Girl. I then took a nap because I know you guys all wanted to know that. (: After my nap, I started painting on the different flowers and plants. These nails are my recreation of this pattern by Anna Deegan. I sealed the design in with another layer of HK Girl.

I'm so happy with how these nails turned out! Also, I just looked at Anna Deegan's Society6 page  and there are SO many amazing patterns! I love that my nail art obsession is helping fuel my other design related obsessions, aka patterns haha. Weird....

Thanks for reading guys!

-Marisa! (:

  3. I love this a whole lot!! You're inspiring me to get my butt in gear and try some more freehand designs this weekend... Patterns are a perfect place to find inspiration! Also I like seeing all the colours and supplies that you use - it shows me what size brushes/tools you're using to do what which is helpful when I buy my own supplies.
