Hello lovelies!
Remember when I said yesterday that this week would be filled with a ton of posts? Well, it starts today! Hopefully you guys are ready to see a lot of polish because it's happening haha.
Anywho, onto the first post of the day!
Last year, I only posted one Halloween manicure...it's only September and this is my fourth Halloween design so far...next week? Thanksgiving nail art!....Except not really...
Here's what I used:
Today's theme for the 31 Day Challenge was another weird one. I don't know how you really get inspired by the Supernatural....and I've never watched show...tumblr ruined that one for me. But I came across this pattern, which doesn't have a source ugh, and used that as my inspiration.
These nails started with three coats of Lavender/Silver, which is a totally weird but beautiful color with a horrible name and the formula to match. I then used my detail brush to paint the outlines of the ghosts and the little faces. Everything was sealed in with a layer of HK Girl.
I didn't even attempt to add the different expressions on the ghosts because I know I wouldn't be able to get the right amount of detail, so I went for a more simplified version. I've been eyeing some new brushes from Winstonia but haven't taken the plunge yet. Regardless, I think these are adorable and I think this might be the design I wear for Halloween!

So cute! I love that F21 polish. I haven't tried any since they changed their bottles. Is it still as good as it was? Or maybe better??

ReplyDeleteThank you! The formula on this was kind of sucky. It was thick and didn't self level but with a layer of topcoat, you couldn't really tell. I'd say it's about the same formula from before!
