31 Day Challenge: Watermarble

Hello lovelies!

And with this post, I'm caught up again! I also forgot to announce the winner of my 1 year giveaway. Congrats to Jackie! She has already responded back to email. I just want to say thank you again to everyone who takes the time to read my blog and for entering the giveaway!

But enough sappy, onto the nails!

I got to do a watermarble today! Woo!

Here's what I used:

I feel like watermarbles have kind of become my back-up lazy nail art for when I don't feel like freehanding something. Haha, practice helps!

These nails started with two coats of Zoya's Neely, which I then let dry. I then dripped each polish into my watermarbling container, drew in my flower design, and dipped each finger. Side note: I don't use filtered water for my watermarbling because I've never seen a difference between the two outcomes of filtered water versus normal water. I finished the marble by adding a layer of What I Wore To The Revolution and HK Girl.

I guess I was really just in the mood for green nails when I did these haha. The contrasting glitters in WIWTTR made this whole look really fun for me and I loved wearing these!

Thanks for reading guys!

  5. Haha I'm telling you, practice is the best thing!! I like water marbling because I don't really have to think about what I'm doing. When I freehand something, I'm constantly thinking about everything little thing that I'm painting.
