The Nail Challenge Collaborative: Geometric -Week 3

Ello!

And I'm back with another post! I'm a little behind on posting my geometric nails for the Nail Challenge Collaborative this month but after this, I only have one more design to do!

So, onto the nails!

I've painted so many triangles this month...I wonder what my favorite shape is?

Here's what I used:

I'm still struggling with this month's theme so I went back to my pattern inspiration board and found this really cool grid drawing. Normally, this isn't something I would attempt because the lines are so thin in the original design but I decided to paint them anyways haha!

These nails started with two coats of Love.Angel.Music.Baby, which I just recently found at Sally's for like $4.50 and I think it might be my favorite gold polish in my stash so score! I used the brush from the bottle to add Wait N' Sea over the base and added a layer of HK Girl. Then using the striping brush and acrylic paint, I painted on the triangle grid. I did this by painting the horizontal lines first than going back in to make the triangles. Everything was sealed in with another layer of topcoat.

Out of all the manicures I've done for the Nail Challenge Collaborative this month, I'm going to say that this one is my favorite! My lines aren't as smooth as they could have been but I love this color combination. We all just need to hope that I can come up with one more idea haha.

Thanks for reading guys!

  1. It's lovely! And triangles are great. I've been wanting to try the Asa no ha, so I might do that for NCC this month still. They're triangles too!
