Hello lovelies!
Can you believe that we're already a week into this challenge? I feel like whenever I do these long, daily challenges time is in this weird state where it seems like it's dragging on but at the same time it's really flying by. Does that make sense? Probably not. It's hard to explain.
I don't know where I was going with that, so let's get to the nails!
Now, this might be one of my favorite manicures that I've done in a long time. :D
Here's what I used:
I didn't use any acrylic paint for these! It seriously felt so weird haha. Trying to get thin lines with polish is such a pain especially when you're using a neon polish, but I did it! This print by Claudia Owen was my inspiration.
These nails started with three coats of My Vampire Is Buff. When that dried, I used my striping brush and Purple Panic (totally not purple...) to paint on the floral design before adding a layer of HK Girl. I did a watermarble using Wait N' Sea and Nail Envy over that, and sealed everything in with another layer of HK Girl.
My nails didn't turn out exactly like the pattern but I still really love these! I'm liking the idea of watermarbling over a painted design too. That might be one that I need to play with more!
Thanks for reading guys!
-Marisa! (:

ReplyDeleteI thought that this was a double stamped manicure when I first saw the picture. I am seriously in awe that you not only free handed those flowers but you thought to do a water marble over it! That is one of the most creative ways I've seen for a manicure.
