Hello lovelies!
I have a quick post for you guys today. It's only day three of 2015 and I'm already getting sick. So much fun!
Anywho, onto the nails!
At least, I have sparkles. Sparkles are good (:
Here's what I used:
Water spotted nail art is another one that I haven't done in a while. It's a good thing that I started this manicure by doing my right hand first because I was under the impression that the clean-up wouldn't be "that bad." Nope. Absolutely not. Turned Up Turquoise loves staining skin and cuticles. Green tinged fingers are going to be a 2015 fashion trend, right?
These nails started with two coats of A Raisin To Live. When that dried, I made sure to put vaseline on my fingers and around my nails (I learned from the right hand and protected this hand.) I then dripped some of Turned Up Turquoise into a cup of water and sprayed it with hair spray. When the polish separated, I dipped each finger in. This was repeated with At Vase Value, and I finished everything with a layer of HK Girl.
As messy as these were to accomplish, I like how the nails turned out. I was tempted to add a little round stud at the base of my nail, but I wore these work and knew that I would end up losing them. Simple is good!
Thanks for reading guys!
-Marisa! (:
