Hello lovelies!
I've got two posts for you guys today! It's been so long since I've done an indie post and I've had these swatches done for a while, so I figured I'd post it now. I'm still working through my KBShimmer collection, so onto the nails!
*All swatches shown with one coat of Glossy Glam
First up today is Let's Not Coral! This polish is a pinky, coral-y creme polish that took two coats to reach this opacity.
Part of the reason that it's taken me so long to write this post is because I know my photos of this polish are not color accurate. My camera likes to turn this one into a hot pink but I did try to color correct these, so they should be a little bit closer. This was my first experience with one of KBShimmer's cremes and while the formula is easy to work with, I did find it to be a little slow drying.
Next up is Falling For Hue!
This white glitter crelly is filled with various sized red, pink, and fuchsia hex glitters. Falling For Hue has a great formula and was opaque in three coats.
I'm realizing now that both of these polishes would be perfect for Valentine's day....I'm only two months late....oh well. Anyways, this is a really pretty polish and I'll definitely have to remember this one for February of next year.
Now, onto the nail art!
SO. MUCH. GLITTER. I LOVE IT.
These nails started with two coats of Let's Not Coral and a layer of Glossy Glam. I then used a q-tip to dab on Love, Angeline's Dancing Fireflies, KBShimmer's Ice Queen, and Delush Polish's She's Snowflakey. Everything was sealed in with another layer of Glossy Glam.
Last up is some nail art done with Falling For Hue.
I have absolutely no idea where this nail art idea came from but I think it works with the polish!
These nails started with three coats of Falling For Hue and layer of Glossy Glam. Then using acrylic paint and a detail brush, I painted on the shapes. Everything was sealed in with another layer of Glossy Glam.
Here are some macros:
Both of these polishes can be purchased from KBShimmer site. Let's Not Coral and other cremes retail for $7.50, while Falling For Hue and other glitters retail for $8.75. Here are some links to check out:
Thanks for reading guys!
