The Never Ending Pile Challenge: Green

Hello lovelies!

I have some quick posts for you all today! I worked an earlier shift than I normally do yesterday and then went to a friend's house to paint some of my friends' nails! (I even remembered to take pictures and might even have a blog post about it coming up sometime soon!.....maybe (; ). But I may have stayed out a bit later than I was planning on....whoops....

Anyhoo, onto the nails!!

I really, really, really, really, REALLY love how these nails turned out!

Here's what I used:

My untried green polish for today is LynBDesigns's Ducky! This was one of the first polishes that I bought from this brand and initially how I found out it even existed. You all know I'm obsessed with dinosaurs and a search for dinosaur inspired nail polish came up with some polishes from a Little Foot collection (which I now own all of!).

These nails started with 2 coats of Zoya's Pippa followed by a failed gradient with Ducky. After the gradient failed, I just brushed the polish on which is why it looks pretty yellowy. The vines were loosely inspired by this pattern and freehanded on with acrylic paint. The dots were added for more color.

These nails made me so happy. I think they're different from a lot of things that I've posted before and I've been experimenting more with acrylic paint. This to me is a step in the right direction (:

Here are remaining themes:
