Hello lovelies!
What did you guys think of those Lac Attack polishes that I showed you all yesterday? Pretty great, right! Well, I'm back today with some nail art that I did with the polishes so let's get onto the nails!
I'll start off today's post with the nail art I did using Peppermint Cocoa. The polish already looks like the cocoa so I decided to add the peppermint(s) haha!
This look was started with two coats of Peppermint Cocoa and a layer of HK Girl. Using acrylic paint and my detail brush, I freehanded on the white circles for the candy base. When that dried, I went back in with some red paint to add the peppermint swirls. Everything was sealed in with a layer of HK Girl.
Next up is Silver & Cold!
I've been seeing so many snowflake designs recently and decided that it was time to attempt another one myself. My last attempt at some winter snowflakes didn't turn out too hot but I think these are a huge improvement! I used these as inspiration.
These nails started with two coats of Silver & Cold. Then using a striping brush and black acrylic paint, I freehanded on the snowflakes. Everything was sealed in with a layer of HK Girl.
Next is Holiday Explosion!
I don't know what it is about this polish but it reminds me of a Christmas tree. I then got this, what I thought was a cool, idea to do cutout Christmas trees! I don't know if this has been done before but if so, someone let me know. Haha that rhymed!....
This look started with two coats of Zoya's Neely. I followed that with one coat of Holiday Explosion and a layer of HK Girl. Then using a detail brush and black acrylic paint, I freehanded on the outline of a Christmas tree and filled in the surrounding area. I added a little yellow dot for a star and sealed everything in with another layer of HK Girl.
Last up is Merry & Bright!
For this look, I wanted to create some Christmas lights and I thought that Merry & Bright would be great to use as the "glow" of the lights. In hindsight, I wish I had painted the bulbs all different colors but I like how these turned out!
I started these nails with two coats of Zoya's India, which I let dry fully. Then using my striping brush and white acrylic paint, I freehanded on the strings of the lights. I used a sponge to add some Merry & Bright randomly on the string, That was followed by the little yellow light bulbs and a layer of HK Girl.
Wow, that is a lot of holiday/Christmas nail art! I think last year I did like 12 Christmas looks or something like that, and it was only for a challenge, and here's a third of that in one post. WOO FESTIVE! Haha. Anyways, I hope you guys enjoyed these looks and if you're interested in purchasing information for any of these Lac Attack polishes, check out yesterday's swatch post or these links:
Thanks for reading guys!
