Hello lovelies!
It's time for a new theme for The Nail Challenge Collaborative! I mentioned in my last NCC post that I wasn't excited for this month's theme, but I know a lot of the other ladies in the group are. So, I'm embracing it and trying to make it fun for myself!
Let's see how I did!
If you haven't figured the theme out by now, it's animals.
Here's what I used:
Animal seems like it would be a really great theme, doesn't it? I don't know, it's just not that interesting to me. I have no problems with leopard or zebra print nail art, I personally just feel that it's over done and it's not a style I would wear. To each their own though. If you love those designs, ignore me and rock it! (:
These nails started with two coats of Fairest Of Them All (previously reviewed here) and a layer of Glossy Glam. Then using my detail brush and acrylic paint, I freehanded on the little foxes. The cheeks were added last and followed by a another layer of Glossy Glam.
I love these little foxes so much! They were inspired by this print from the designer/illustrator, Aless Baylis. Her work is really incredible and I'm happy that I found her site, definitely check her out if you have the chance. My attempt here doesn't do the original any justice, so go look!
Thanks for reading guys!
-Marisa! (:
