Hello lovelies!
I feel like I haven't been "around" the blog much this week and it's kind of lame....This has been a really long week with a bunch of different assignments going on, but only two more days and then it's Spring break! Woo!
Onto the nails!
This month is all about fashion nails for The Nail Challenge Collaborative! I haven't done much fashion nail art before so this should be interesting.
Here's what I used:
Okay, so I don't know any big time fashion designers or anything so if I mess up a name, let me now! My first look of the month is inspired by Dolce & Gabbana's Fall/Winter 2015-16 collection. This look in particular.
These nails started with two coats of Normani. When that had dried, I used my acrylic paint to freehand on all of the roses. Then I went in with my detail brush and The Full Monty to add on the leaves. I painted the leaves one at time so I could push the glequins into the wet polish. Everything was sealed in with a layer of Glossy Glam.
My nails don't match the dress perfectly (for some reason I thought that Normani was lighter....), but that's alright! I still really loved wearing these. Roses and glitter are two of my favorite things, so it works for me (:
