Hello lovelies!
Today's post is going to be a quick one. I accidentally fell asleep from 11pm yesterday to 3am today and now I need to do my homework....my sleep schedule is so messed up, I don't even know anymore haha....
Anywho, onto the nails!
I haven't done ikat nails in so long!
Here's what I used:
This challenge made me realize that I'm really lacking in the metallic polish department. It's not a finish that I really like and I don't stamp very often, so I always just pass on buying them. Meh, oh well.
These nails started with two coats of The Full Monty. When that had dried, I used my white acrylic paint and detail brush to paint on the base of the ikat shapes. That was followed by the middle part done with Ay Poppy! The final details were done using acrylic paint and everything was sealed with a layer of Glossy Glam.
I really liked wearing these! I love how bold the ikat design and I always forget how much I like it. These were actually the nails that I painted while working in the studio last week. I don't think they turned out to shabby, so I might need to start doing that more often haha!
