Hello lovelies!
It's Friday and I'm done with my 1st week of classes! I'm already getting into horrible habits like staying up too late, writing my posts super late (it's 2am), and leaving all my homework to the last minute (like my 2 hour break in-between my morning and afternoon class!) WOO! Great start! Anyways, I'm back with more Glossome Polishes for you (last week's are here).
Let's get onto the nails!
This first polish is called Pop Rocks!
All of the polishes that I have for you today are glitter crellies and opaque on their own. This is 3 coats of Pop Rocks on its own. It's a yellowish-cream base filled with purple and yellow, matte glitters and pink micro glitters! This was pretty easy to work with, I recommend waiting a little bit in between coats though to avoid drag.
I have to admit that I'm not the biggest fan of this polish, I like the glitter color combinations but I'm not a fan of the base color. It doesn't look great with my skin tone and was too yellowy, it could very well look great on you though!
The next polish I have for you is Peri-Twinkle!
What you're seeing here is 3 coats of Peri-Twinkle on its own. This is a light baby blue cruelly filled with a ton of different glitters! You can see that are are large circle glitters, hex glitters, shards, bar glitters, pretty much anything you can imagine haha! I like the different color combinations in this polish!
I really enjoyed this polish and this was an instant favorite even when I bought these over a year ago. The formula was easy to work with, I would wait again in-between coats and there was no need for fishing. You can see that I had some shrinkage on my tips though, I think that's completely user error and not the polish. I probably wasn't waiting long enough in-between coats.
Lastly is Neon Nation,
And what you're seeing here is 3 coats of Neon Nation on its own. This is a pink crelly with pink and blue micro glitter and various other hex glitters in various colors. This polish was probably the easiest to work with out of all the polishes I'm showing you today!
This polish was actually a surprise favorite for me! Yeah, I know, right? A pink polish being my favorite! This polish just seemed so delicate but then the bright, neon glitters really created a great contrast! I just wish that there were more of the big, red hexes and green hexes!
Here are some macros that I took:
In conclusion, I'm a fan of 2/3 of these polishes and will wear them more. I don't see myself really wearing Pop Rocks much but they all had a nice formula. Unfortunately, these polishes aren't for sale since she isn't making polishes currently. I'll include links just incase she ever returns to making polishes:
Today's song:
Lindsey Stirling - Crystallize
Have you ever heard this girl play before? She's amazing!
Thanks for reading guys!
-Marisa! (:
I am absolutely in love in glitters and your is amazing- all of them! Would you like to follow each other? Just let me know on my blog. Take care :D
ReplyDeleteThanks!!
DeleteThese polishes are not doing it for me, I do like the big hexes in Pop Rocks, but it would have been better in a white base. Peri-Twinkle needs more big pink circle glitters *nods*, and Neon Nation is not my kind of pink. I do like Lindsey Stirling ;)
ReplyDeleteI agree about Pop Rocks and Peri-Twinkle! I guess I can't say that I have a kind of pink since I don't like the color in general, but I liked wearing Neon Nation! Ah well, to each their own! And I just found out who she is, she's amazing!!
DeleteThose polishes look soo pretty!
ReplyDeleteXx julia
