Lacquer Legion: Reflection

Can you believe that 2014 is almost over? This past year is flown by and I'm not sure how I feel about it. The theme for this month's Lacquer Legion post is "reflection," so I decided to reflect on this past year by recreating the first manicure I posted in 2014.

I don't remember what I was thinking when I did these nails, but I do remember that these were done during my whole "skittles manicures are the best thing" ever phase. Things were weird back then...

Today is another day that will be filled with posts but this one is fun because it's the beginning of a new challenge. It's called the 52 Week challenge and you guessed it, it runs for a whole year! It's an interesting challenge that I'd probably butcher if I tried explaining it, so check out the Crumpet's Nail Tarts group on Facebook if you'd like to learn more!

I do know that each week there are two different prompts and you can either do one of them,  two separate designs, or combine the two ideas into one look. I decided that I'm going to try combining them each week so today I have a two color (toned) gradient featuring a teal polish for you all!

I have another post for you today! For me not having a lot of time, I sure am posting a lot this week....funny how that one works. I apologize for being so absent! Who else is happy that this week is halfway over? I know I am! Yesterday was so much fun but it was so long and I know today will be another long one. There's less than 2 weeks left in this semester though! Gah, I'm going to be a senior next year....when did that happen?
