Hello lovelies!
We're halfway through the week and I get my car back from the shop today! I'm so excited :D
But, onto the nails!
Birds, hearts, or "V's"? I don't know you tell me!
Here's what I used:
Just like my metallic nails, I was bit stuck for inspiration so I changed the colors of this pattern!.This was the first gradient that I've done in a really long time (these were done before yesterday's rainbow nails) but man, I forgot how messy these are! Polish everywhere, not cool.
These nails started with two coats of White On. When that had dried, I sponged on the gradient of Kristen and Anne. I think I added three layers of color because Anne isn't very opaque. But then using my acrylic paint and detail brush, I added on the pattern. Everything was sealed in with HK Girl.
I liked wearing these nails too, mostly because I was able to do both hands! The shapes might have looked a little bit more fat hearts on my right hand but, oh well haha. I do wish that I was able to be more consistent with the design but they looked great from far away!
Thanks for reading guys!
-Marisa! (:
That's a pretty gradient. The colors go well together.
ReplyDeleteI like those colors together. And I see birds. :)
ReplyDeleteI love how this turned out! Very cute and I'm so partial to gradients!!!
ReplyDeleteI like to think of them as birds?! Such a pretty gradient!!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm deciding to see them as Flying V birds. They're Vs with tiny little eyes and a beak that you can't see ;) And instead of going "caw caw" they say "vah vah!" and poop out little alphagetti Vs on your car windshield.
ReplyDeleteOkay I see birds there, but I get the point! I really love the delicate gradient!
ReplyDeleteI see Vs! Either way, it looks really cool!
ReplyDeleteLove the tiny sparkle of Anne, and you can change pattern colours around when it fits you *winks*. I know I do!
ReplyDeleteso cute! I think the v's are birds, flying over grass and sky
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! I love the shimmery green so much!
ReplyDeleteBirds was my first thought! Love those colors together.
ReplyDeleteHmm... Birds disguising themselves a hearts? Haha. Either way I really like how this turned out! :)
