Liquid Kandi's October Sweet Treat Box Nail Art

Hello lovelies!

I'm back with part two of my review of the polishes from Liquid Kandi's October Sweet Treat Box! Check out yesterday's post for swatches and continue reading on for some nail art.

Onto the nails!

I decided this time around that I would do nail art with each polish but they would all be Halloween themed. I know it's a bit early for Halloween nail art but at least I'll be able to say that I did some holiday nail art this year....unlike last year where I missed it...anyways!

Autumn Leaves reminded of pumpkins so I painted on some faces that you might carve into a pumpkin. The faces were done with black acrylic paint and a small detail brush. They turned out a little wonky but they're supposed to be cute, not scary!

Next up is the look I did with Spellbound!

This design was inspired by a dark night in the woods....which funny story, I've done this exact design for a past Lacquer Legion post. But for some reason, I couldn't get this idea out of my head and then I realized that these nails are basically the same as a poster I'm designing for class right now...so that was weird...but I like these!

These nails started with four coats of Spellbound and a layer of HK Girl. Then using a toothbrush, I dabbed on some of Zoya's Pinta and China Glaze's Lotus Begin, this was followed with a layer of Luminosity. The trees were freehanded on with black acrylic paint and a small detail brush.

The last design was done with Luminosity!

This was my favorite design out of the three because these ghosts look so cute and I mean, Luminosity is amazing. Sparkly ghosts? Spooky, right? (:

These nails started with two coats of Zoya's Natty, which was than topped with a layer of Luminosity. Then using a small detail brush and acrylic paint, I painted on the little ghosts. I didn't worry about them being the same because I thought it was cute that they were all different!
