Hello lovelies!
Super late post today, whoops. Yesterday was weird and then I didn't feel like getting out of bed today, so yeah, no blog post till now.
But today's nails are cool, so onto the nail art!
Stripes on stripes on stripes in every direction, such cool!
Here's what I used:
This design has probably been done before but I'm not really sure because I pulled my inspiration from this pattern. If anyone knows of any designs like this, let me know because I'd love to see them. I really liked wearing these! And I mean someone thought that I was wearing Jamberry Nail Wraps so hi, yeah, confidence boost, because I painted them myself on both hands!
Anyways, these nails started with two coats of Zoya's Pinta and a layer of HK Girl. Then using my striping brush (which you can win the set this brush came from in my giveaway! It ends in 5 days so hurry and enter!) and white acrylic paint, I freehanded on the stripes in whichever direction I wanted. I added another layer of HK Girl to seal in the design.
Like I said above, I really liked these nails and ended up staring at them all day during class. I guess I really just like light patterns over a dark background because I couldn't stop staring at my blue nails from the beginning of the challenge. It's the perfect formula for Fall nail art though so I guess it works!
Thanks for reading guys!

Oooh, I love this! Great graphic design!
ReplyDeleteThis reminds me of Zentangle designs so of course I love it! I like high-contrast patterns and colors, too, like black and white, neon and nude, etc :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice free handed stripes design!
ReplyDeletecute! I think the middle nail is my fave - like how that one came together!
ReplyDeleteI really like that you did something different from the majority for this prompt. These are simple but really nice looking!!
ReplyDeleteI love these! Pinta is one of my all-time favorite zoyas.
ReplyDeleteI love this take on stripes. Whenever I think of stripes for some reason, I thin rigid and straight. This is perfect. "Whichever direction I wanted" is the way it should be. I may just be inspired by you next time I do stripes. Great job!!
ReplyDeleteSuper fun pattern!! Love it :)
ReplyDeleteI love the contrast of colors here! And the pattern is perfect :) Hope you're feeling better!
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job on this, I really like it!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful job! I like the high contrast of colors as well.
