Hello lovelies!
Can you believe that we're already three weeks into the challenge? I feel like this month is flying by and I'm not sure how I feel about it....
Anyways, onto the nails!
I might have taken the easy way out of today's theme but I loved these so it doesn't matter haha.
Here's what I used:
I decided to interpret "inspired by a color" as "inspired by the name of a polish" because same difference, right? I mean that's what Sarah from Chalkboard Nails does and monkey see, monkey do!
The polish name that I chose for inspiration was Luxe Lacquers's Rose, so I painted roses! These started with two coats of Rose and a layer of Fairy Dust. Then using my detail brush and Kristen, I freehanded on the rose blobs followed by the petal details with the acrylic paint. The leaves were added last and were sealed in with a layer of HK Girl.
The polish name that I picked was an easy one to be inspired by but I was so happy wearing these. I think the main reason why I love rose manicures is because they're one of the few designs that I can actually paint on both hands haha. I like to have both of my hands match but it rarely ever happens anymore.
Thanks for reading guys!
-Marisa! (:
I like how you went with the theme here by being inspired by the name of the polish. These roses turned out great.
