Hello lovelies!
It's day 2 of the 31 Day Challenge! Could you imagine if I counted down each day of the challenge? This month would last forever, wouldn't it? Okay, that's probably not a good idea....But I was a bit shocked to see how many people are participating this year. It's so cool to see all the different takes on the themes and I'm excited to discover some new nail artists and bloggers!
But moving on from the sappy, let's get to the nails!
More patterns! Woo!
Here's what I used:
A lot of my designs lately have been done using acrylic paint but this one was done using only nail polish! And I forgot how much harder nail polish is to control haha. Today's nails were inspired by this pattern.
These nails started with 2 coats of China Glaze's Stoked To Be Soaked. Using my striping brush, I painted on the wavy stripes using Zoya's Thandie and Sally Hansen's Black Out. The stripes don't have to be perfect which is the main reason why I loved the original design. Then using the polishes and a detail brush, I painted in the little dashes. Everything was sealed in with a layer of HK Girl.
I'm usually not a fan of orange nails but I actually liked these nails a lot! Yeah, these are Halloween colors but I think this design could be perfect for the transition from Summer to Autumn. Can you imagine a scarf with this pattern on it? Uh hi, take my money! (:
Thanks for reading guys!
