Hello lovelies!
I don't have much of an introduction today sooo,
Onto the nails!
This might have been the quickest design that I've done for the entire challenge and I love it!
Here's what I used:
Today's theme was to be "inspired by art" and I'll admit that I struggled with this. Even surviving (and passing) 4 different art history classes, I had no ideas for this....to be honest, my way of making it through those courses was to study as much as what was going to be on the quiz/exam and then instantly forgetting it once it was over....so, that didn't work. If you type "art" into the search bar of Pinterest, you get fifty billion results, so that didn't work. So instead, I took a look through some of my own paintings and put one of them on my nails!
These nails started with two coats of White On and a layer of HK Girl. I then used the fluffy brush to dab the acrylic paint onto my nails, and I continued to add the different colors until I was happy with it. Everything was then cleaned up and sealed in with another layer of HK Girl.
Here's a bonus shot with the painting:
I should probably mention that me "painting" is much more of a "lets throw paint at the paper and see what happens....oops I spilled paint on everything" kind of a thing. Throwing paint at things is very stress relieving though so I highly recommend it! (;
Thanks for reading guys!
