Hello lovelies!
I have another quick post for you for the Nail Challenge Collaborative. The geometric theme is still giving me a hard time but I have my second design done!
Onto the nails!
I guess I've been drawn to different combinations lately? Neither of my posts today are colors that I normally wear haha.
Here's what I used:
So looking at those three polishes next to each other right now, I'm realizing that I love the colors together! Wow, I didn't realize that when they were on my nails but they go together really well. The design was inspired by this print by Marie Flensborg. She's got some really cool work in her portfolio too, I love all the shapes!
These nails started with two coats of Love, Angeline's Sand Castles. When that had dried, I used a straight Nail Vinyl and Zoya's Wednesday to add the french tip. I waited for that to dry and then placed a paper hole reinforcement on the middle of my nail for the red circle. The triangle was added using straight Nail Vinyls and the black acrylic paint. Everything was sealed in with a layer of HK Girl.
I do like this design and I thought it was really interesting on the nail, I wish that I had been a bit more consistent with the placement of the shapes. I haven't been using my Nail Vinyls or striping tape a lot lately so it was like relearning how to use them again haha.
Thanks for reading guys!
-Marisa! (:
