Yume Lacquer Nail Art

Hello lovelies!

This is my final post of the day and should be the last time I post three times in one day for a long time! But yesterday I reviewed some polishes from the Moonlight Defender collection by Yume Lacquer and today I have some nail that I did over the polishes to show you.

So, onto the nails!

pink, pink lady, cutesy, nails, nail art, nail polish, indie polish, yume lacquer, sailor moon,

First up is the nail art that I did with Pink Lady! I recreated this fabric that is supposedly by Michael Miller Fabrics but I can't find it on his site, so I'm not sure how accurate that is. Which I actually painted one of his patterns on my nails earlier in the month for the violet day of the 31 Day Challenge haha. He has some fun designs on his site!

These nails started with two coats of Pink Lady and a layer of HK Girl. Then using acrylic paint and my detail brush, I painted on the design. This design was actually a lot harder to paint then I expected it to be because I normally don't outline my shapes. Despite the struggle and all the pink, I really love how cutesy this final look is!

Next up is the nail art done over Flame Warrior!

This nail art was inspired by another Anna Deegan print from her Little Rascals series (it's the pattern at the bottom). Her designs are all so lovely and I want to buy all the things from her Society6 shop!

These nails started with three coats of Flame Warrior and a layer of HK Girl. Again, I used acrylic paint and my small detail brush to paint on the pattern. I do feel like the polish loses some of it's shimmer with the design painted over it and the brown paint I used is too dark, but I'm still happy with how these turned out. The color palette is great for Fall and the flowers on my pinky are adorable! Also, the clumps that appeared in yesterday's swatch disappeared with a second layer of top coat.

Last up is the nail art done with Turbulent Space!

I don't know what it is with me and triangles, but I keep painting them on my nails and using them in my design work.....weird. But these nails were inspired by this pattern by Ana Sender who is a pattern designer and illustrator. She has some really interesting illustrations on her blog that I think are worth taking a look at!

These nails started with two coats of Turbulent Space and a layer of HK Girl. Then using acrylic paint and a striping brush, I painted the triangles on. These were finished with another layer of top coat. I know I said that I liked all the nail art looks above but I've been really happy with most of the nail art that I've been doing lately and these are no exception. This design will probably be recreated soon so I can wear it longer!

I hope you guys liked these nail art looks and maybe they inspired you to try something new! If you're looking to read more about the polishes, check out yesterday's review or go to any of the brand links below!

Thanks for reading guys!
