Hello lovelies!
I have a really fun review for you guys today. This is another "new-to-me" indie brand that I've been eyeing on Instagram since they started making polishes so I'm super excited to be sharing some of their polishes with you! So, let me introduce you guys to Nvr Enuff Polish with their Spice World Collection!
*All swatches shown with one coat HK Girl.
I'll start this review off with Baby which is inspired by Baby Spice! This baby pink polish is filled with little iridescent glitters and took two coats to reach opacity. The formula on this polish was great even though it did take a little longer to self-level and the glitters made it dry a little gritty, but it's nothing a little patience and topcoat can't fix.
This isn't a color that I would normally wear but I really liked the little glitters in it. I have a friend at school who loves pink, so I can see myself using this a lot when painting her nails!
And I remembered to take macro shots this time around! These are all taken under direct light and might not be 100% color accurate.
Next up is Ginger!
Ginger is a bright red polish that took two coats to reach opacity. This polish is filled with red, holo glitters along with iridescent ones. These did cause Ginger to dry a little gritty again but a layer of topcoat smooths everything out. Again, this polish had an easy to use formula.
This polish is inspired by Ginger Spice and I think this is a really lovely red polish! Again, this isn't normally a color that I would reach for but I actually really loved wearing this. I don't know what it is but something about red nails, guys. I wore this during a practice presentation and every time I moved my hand and saw the polish, it made me smile. This will probably end up being used a lot!
Next up is Posh inspired by Posh Spice!
Posh is a blackened jelly-like polish with a purple-plum shimmer running through it! This was really sheer on the first coat and I thought that I was going to have to layer this over black, but it reached this opacity in two coats! Aside from that initial sheerness, this was another one with a great formula.
The shimmery-ness of the purple comes out more when this polish is in direct light but even in the shade, this color is gorgeous. It looks so fancy and I'd love to try some gold, baroque-like design over this sometime in the future!
Next up is Sporty!
Sporty is a really beautiful, teal, linear holo polish that took two coats to reach opacity. This was inspired by Sporty Spice. I thought that this polish was a little sheer on the first coat like Posh but it built up fine with the second layer. Again, this polish had a really formula that was easy to work with.
This is one of my favorites from the collection! The color is so pretty and I really like how subtle the holo is. This is one of those polishes where you need either sunlight or a bunch of direct light to make it sparkle but I think that makes this fun!
And finally, we have Scary!
Scary, inspired by Scary Spice, is a flakie filled topper. The flakies are all metal colored and include gold, bronze, gunmetal, and some others. I layered one coat over Zoya's Ryan but this can be built up to full opacity in two to three coats with some dabbing.
This polish is so cool looking! I don't have anything like it in my collection which is why I saved it for last because it's awesome. The flakies were so shiny that it made my camera go a bit funky but shiny is good. This one would be really fun in a steampunk inspired manicure!
Here are some macros:
This is another brand that I was really impressed with! The formulas on all of these were really great and I love that, for the most part, they were all two coaters. Also, the inspiration was a really fun idea and I think the polishes were pretty spot on. I think that's probably what had me so interested in this brand to begin with was all the different places that they get inspired from. They also have a Minerals Rock! collection along with some polishes inspired by The Pagemaster, Light, and past Nickelodeon shows.
For some purchasing information, all of these polishes are available in the Nvr Enuff Polish store except for Scary, which is currently sold out. Full size bottles retail for $8.75 and mini bottles are available for $3.75. This brand's mini bottles are really cute because they're rectangular shaped, here's an Instagram photo to show how adorable they are! And here are some links:
Remember to check back tomorrow for some nail art done with these polishes!
