Hello lovelies!
I'm so sorry that I've been so absent lately between posting here and on social media, along with reading blogs. This week has been pretty crazy and I spent yesterday in New York City for a class, so I didn't get to post. But I'm getting myself organized with the blog and my school work, which means a blog post!
Let's get to the nails!
More triangles. It was bound to happen, I'm not even sorry haha.
Here's what I used:
I wanted to finish out this month's The Nail Challenge Collaborative theme with something fun! I've managed to go this entire month without using striping tape or Nail Vinyls. I love tape manicures and some people do amazing things with it, don't get me wrong, but I wanted to challenge my freehand skills and this month was a good opportunity for that.
These nails started with two coats of Pahlish's The Ghost Shift! This was one of those polishes that I rediscovered when I reorganized my polishes. I own all of her polishes from the two All Of Time And Space collections and most of them make great bases for nail art! Anyways, using the detail brush and the acrylic paints, I freehanded on the triangles. Everything was sealed in with a layer of HK Girl.
My triangles here aren't perfect but I'm super happy with how these look! I think these triangle "stripes" are a great design and I can't wait to try this with more colors.
Thanks for reading guys!
-Marisa! (:
