Hello lovelies!
Did you guys like the review I did yesterday of some polishes from Fair Maiden Polish? The polishes are awesome! Today's post is filled with nail art that I did with them, so let's get onto the nails!
I'm going to show the nail art in the same order that I posted the swatches in yesterday, so first up is Fairest Of Them All! This look is my recreation of this pattern by Bonnie Christine.
These nails started with two coats of Fairest Of Them All and a layer of HK Girl. I then used acrylic paint and a detail to add on the white shapes. I found it easiest to start with the diamond shapes and work out from there. Everything was sealed in with layer of HK Girl.
Next up is Beauty Within!
This nail art look was inspired by this t-shirt that I found on the Anthropologie website. This was a really easy design to do but I think it looks really cool!
These nails started with two coats of Beauty Within and a layer of HK Girl. Then using purple acrylic paint and my detail brush, I painted on the stripes. All you have to do is make little dash marks next to each other until you reach the other side of your nail. Just be careful to make sure your line is coming out straight haha. Everything was sealed in with another layer of HK Girl.
Next up is Let Your Hair Down!
These nails weren't inspired by a pattern, but I recently found my sheet of straight Nail Vinyls and wanted some stripes on my nails. The two different purples play well with each other!
I started these nails with two coats of Let Your Hair Down and a layer of HK Girl. I then placed my Nail Vinyls down and added a layer of Zoya's Pinta. Everything was sealed in with another layer of HK Girl and I placed the bow on my nail while it was still wet. I didn't wear the bow any longer than it took to take the photos but if you wanted it to stay, I recommend attaching it with some nail glue.
Next is Change Your Fate!
I think this might be my favorite look from the entire post even if I'm a little disappointed with my line work. Anyways, these nails were inspired by this pattern by the designer, Emma Frances!
These nails started off with two coats of Change Your Fate and a layer of HK Girl. I used green, white, and yellow acrylic paint to mix the colors for the leaves, and painted those on with my detail brush. Everything was sealed in with a layer of HK Girl.
Last up is Fairy Godmother!
If you read the review yesterday then you'll know that I loved Fairy Godmother layered over China Glaze's Turned Up Turquoise. I've also been really loving gradient nail art so I combined the two into this manicure!
These nails started with two coats of China Glaze's Pelican Gray. I then used a makeup sponge and Pelican Gray, Re-Fresh Mint, and Turned Up Turquoise (all from China Glaze) to do the gradient. This was followed by a layer of Fairy Godmother and HK Girl. I place some tape down to cover half of my nail and added a layer of Zoya's Ryan. That was sealed in with another layer of HK Girl.
I took a bonus shot with direct light so you can see the holo better:
Phew, these nail art posts always take a bit to put together which is why this post is up later than normal. I hope you guys liked all of these look though! You can check out yesterday's review for more purchasing info or look at any of these links for Fair Maiden Polish:
Thanks for reading guys!
