This week is finally over!! I have a weekend full of homework ahead of me (part of that is to watch movies! :D the rest of it sucks though D: ), but the break from classes will be good. I already pulled my first all-nighter of the semester on Wednesday night! Ugh haha!

It's the middle of the week! Woo! I feel like I've been back to school for a month haha. Today is my first full day at my internship, I'm scheduled to be there for 7 hours! I really need to get some sleep, I'm getting my id picture taken tomorrow and the bags under my eyes are already back in full force D:

I hope you all survived your Mondays! I survived mine but man, it felt like a whole week went by when in all reality it was one day. I have the same professor for all 3 of my classes on Mondays too! I mean I like him, he's a great professor but he definitely makes you work for your grade….aka lots of homework D:
Anyways, today is the last Tri-Polish Challenge for January!
Does anyone else feel like the past weekend flew by? Like wow, I forgot how fast they go when I'm not working. That means that today is Monday, which means that I have class from 9:30am to 9pm. Yup, you read that right! I get a 2 and a half hour break in-between 2 of the classes but I have a club meeting in that gap D: Not to mention that's 2:45am as I right this post…..whoops.
Anyways, on to probably the most detailed nail art I've ever painted!
These nails seriously took me a good 2+ hours to paint. Good thing I had Doctor Who to keep me company!

Today's prompt is Sparkle! Sooo….I abandoned all nail art efforts and just went for ALL DA GLITTER!
Overall, I'm happy with everything that went up on the blog this week! Some of the designs were pretty simple but I still found them really appealing. I think I'm realizing that I work better with line work designs rather than abstract designs. That's how I am with my design work and drawing outside of nails too so I guess that makes sense.
I also wrapped up my first week of classes this week. I know I always complain about school and I said this last semester but this semester is definitely going to be a rough one. Regardless though, this upcoming week will be another fun one I think! So be ready! :D

It's Friday and I'm done with my 1st week of classes! I'm already getting into horrible habits like staying up too late, writing my posts super late (it's 2am), and leaving all my homework to the last minute (like my 2 hour break in-between my morning and afternoon class!) WOO! Great start! Anyways, I'm back with more Glossome Polishes for you (last week's are here).
I hope you're all doing well! I have 2 studios today but I'm kind of excited for them…..I didn't really just say that…..uhmmm…awkward….school sucks, man!…..Okay, yup, moving on. I went to my internship for the first time yesterday! Everyone was super nice so I'm pretty happy about that, I was a total awkward mess though….typical.

Today's color is blue! Which is one of my favorite colors so I liked this challenge!
We're halfway through the week (I only had a 4 day week but ah well). Wednesdays are my days off but I have a bunch of stuff to do today, blah. Did I mention here that I recently got an internship for this semester? I don't think so, I'm excited but super nervous haha! I'm meeting my supervisor today! Gah!

Today is my first day back to classes and of course I didn't end up going to bed at a decent time! 1:30am is pretty early for me though….Whoops. Oh well, side note! I updated my editing software last night! I was using the Adobe Creative Suite CS5.5 and now I'm on the Adobe Creative Cloud. Yay, for new buttons and things not being where they used to!! It might be a rough semester haha!
Anyways, Tri Polish Challenge is back today!
This is another manicure where I had absolutely no reason for painting what I did. I just kind of went at my nails with my detail brush haha!
Today is the last Monday that I get to enjoy off before classes start, luckily I have nothing planned so I can just relax and hopefully go to bed at a decent time....even though it's 4:30am as I write this....whoops. Not sure how I'm going to survive having classes at 9:30am D:

I hope your Monday didn't treat you to poorly, mine was pretty decent. I bought tickets yesterday to see Paramore and Fall Out Boy in concert together for this summer!! I'm so excited, it's been almost 4 years since I've seen Paramore live!! :D

Can I just start out by saying that I'm really happy with the past week on the blog? Because, I am! (: This week was filled with a bunch of funky designs which I love! I've realized that I can't be scared to try new nail ideas, if something doesn't work out, oh well. That's what acetone is for! I think taking part in all the challenges is helping too (even if most of my challenge nails this week were pretty simple).
So, what's coming up for this week? More challenge nails, a glimpse of my new camera settings (this will forever be a work in progress), nail art, and some more indie swatches! I'm super pumped for things on the blog this week. I also move back to Albany on Saturday so I'm excited for that. I'm a meh about starting up classes again but that's okay.

I'm back again with a 2nd post! I really need to start writing these posts ahead of time and by that I mean not at 6:15am the day the post needs to go up...It's cool. Whoops. What is sleep? Anyways today starts the FingerFood Theme Buffet!
Woo! Look at all those nails! This week was pretty dominated by glitter and I'm not complaining haha! I feel like this week was a bit of a low point for me and the blog. I had accidentally messed up my camera settings so I wasn't happy with my photos and I wasn't feeling all that inspired. I started showcasing a different indie brand, Cascade Polish, which is fun! But luckily, I've already gotten myself out of my rut and I'm super excited to show you everything I did this week!
I feel like for me the only way to keep pushing myself to do nail designs that I like is to keep pushing myself with challenges and making myself post. Normally for me, once I start slacking on something there is almost no chance of me going back to it anymore. So I've been painting my nails non-stop and I actually have decided to take part in 3 challenges this month! I'll be continuing my features (Music Monday, Skittles Wednesdays, and Indie Fridays) too!
The 1st challenge/collaboration is FingerFood's Theme Buffet! I'll be posting these posts on Sundays, which means double posts again. Here are the themes from that:
The 2nd challenge is the Tri-Polish Challenge! This challenge has gone through a re-vamp and now posts every Tuesday! I'm excited to continue on with this one!
And finally, the 3rd challenge is the Golden Oldie Thursday Polish Challenge! This challenge uses old polishes that you might have forgotten about! I haven't been blogging that long and most of my stash has been bought since I started the blog (I've bought almost 200 polishes since starting it -_-) but I do still own some older polishes, so I'm going to play along!
