We're halfway through the week (I only had a 4 day week but ah well). Wednesdays are my days off but I have a bunch of stuff to do today, blah. Did I mention here that I recently got an internship for this semester? I don't think so, I'm excited but super nervous haha! I'm meeting my supervisor today! Gah!
Anyways on to today's nails!
I'm super happy with these nails!! And my clean-up! Gah! Haha
More after the jump:
Here's what I used:
So, the story behind these nails….well once again, there really isn't one, haha. I had just ordered some polishes from Shirley Ann Nail Lacquer and they sat on my desk for like a week because I was too lazy to add them to my indie spreadsheet! I felt it needed some love, so I had to use it and I'm in love with it! I don't normally wear reds but it's so squishy and shiny looking, how could I say I don't love that!
My middle finger design was done by just dabbing on some dots of color, I used red and grey, and then dabbed them around with a sponge soaked with acetone. I think this is easier than the watercolor technique but it gives a bit of a rougher look which I don't mind.
If you've never heard of Shirley Ann Nail Lacquer before, you really need to check her out! Here's the link to her store. Not Your Mama's Cranberry Sauce's formula was perfect and it looks beautiful! Also, all of her polishes are only $6 and some are on sale for $4 right now. That's an incredible deal!
