Weekly Recap: April 27th - May 3rd

Ello lovelies!

Here's another weekly recap:




I used so many Spring-y colors this week! Bright nails make me happy so I'm totally fine with it. This week was full of nail art that I'm really happy with! Expect to see some more awesome nail art coming up this week! I've painted some of my nails for the week and I'd say they look pretty snazzy (;

If I had to pick a favorite for this week, I would pick my Golden Oldie Thursdays flower nails! I'm happy to be doing more detailed designs again but it's obvious that I need to keep practicing. I'll get there eventually! I'm also really loving my Tri-Polish Challenge post, my Glam nails, and the Most Expensive nails from the Never Ending Pile Challenge.

Weekly Recap: April 20th - April 26th

Hello lovelies!

I have another recap for you all!


Holy poop! A lot of nails on the blog this week! I did my first real review this week on the blog, make sure to check it out if you haven't, and I think my nail art is getting back up to where I want it to be! It's been tough juggling nail art with school so I've been taking the easy way out of things but I think things are getting back to the level that I want it to be at!

I said last week that I had things up my sleeve for cool nail art and I think this week you'll actually get to see it! I have my posts painted all the way up to Friday, woo go me! Anyways, I liked a lot of things that I posted this week! I liked my drugstore nails for the Never Ending Pile Challenge and a lot of people liked my triangle gradients. Cult Nails even shared them on Instagram and someone asked me to do a video of them! I might start attempting to do nail art tutorials but I need to make it through this semester though haha. Let me know if there's anything you would want to see!

Weekly Recap: April 13th - April 19th

Hello lovelies!

Here's another weekly recap!


I only used blue nail polish twice this week! What?! I don't even know how that happened, I wore so many colors this week that I normally wouldn't wear. Weird....

So, I think I said last week that I had things up my sleeve for cool nail art ideas and then I did some of the easiest nail art I think I've ever posted for a good chunk of the week. *pats self on back* Whoops. It's the end of the semester, so time is getting tight again which means most of my nail painting doesn't happen till like 2-3am most mornings /: I think I have some fun stuff coming up this week though so look forward to that!

Look at all that glitter! Holy cow! I'm in love....

Haha I like everything that went up this week! The nail art was a bit simpler than normal but sometimes simple is good! The Never Ending Pile Challenge is really helping me show you guys some of my indie polishes which is great. It's just kind of hard coming up with cool nail art to do with them but I've got some things up my sleeve for this upcoming week (;

Weekly Recap 3/23 - 3/29

Hello lovelies!

Here's another weekly recap!


Look at all those posts this week! I'm all caught up on my posts and I'm getting ahead on nails for this week so we're doing good! I used blue a lot again this week, whoops. I'm not even going to try to avoid it anymore haha!

This week was full of some extra posts. The Lacquer Legion post for this week was all about luck so I posted about my lucky polish that I always wear during presentations. I also wrote a guest post for Sam of Lipstick, Polish, & Blush, Oh My! Go check that out and give her blog a look around! Weekly Recap 3/9 - 3/15

Hello lovelies!

Here's another recap!



Not every post had blue in it this week! Woo! We're making progress! Another good week on the blog, the nail art was a bit simpler I feel but still pretty! I was able to do a super sparkly manicure for the FingerFood Theme Buffet and I was able to show off some of the new Zoya Awaken polishes! I just realized that I used a lot of Zoya on the blog this week….oh well!

I'm also super happy with how my swatches came out this week, I feel like I'm improving with my swatching abilities. She even shared them on her instagram! I also introduced a new *feature* Patterned Wednesdays! I think it's going to be a lot of fun and I'm super pumped to show you guys what I did for that this week!

Weekly Recap 3/2 - 3/8

Hello lovelies!

Here's this week's recap:


Anybody have any idea what my favorite color nail polish is? Hahaha maybe I should challenge myself to a week of no blue nails. Wow. Can't do that this month though since the Tri-Polish challenge colors include blue hehe (; 

I think this was a good week on the blog though! I feel like I'm struggling to follow up some of the more detailed designs I did during the Nail-Art-A-Go-Go challenge. But I'm on Spring Break and I'm not working so I have plenty of free time, we'll see what I come up with! If I had to pick a favorite manicure for this week, I would definitely pick my The Lonely Forest nails! I loved them so much!

Weekly Recap 2/23 - 3/1

Hello lovelies!

I'm back with another weekly recap!



This was another week full of posts! I have to admit that I'm happy to be going back to my normal posting schedule. My vault of manicures is basically empty right now haha. 

The Nail-Art-A-Go-Go challenge is over now. I feel like I really owe Missy a lot for this challenge since it really pushed me to try new and different things. I'm super proud of everything that I posted over the course of the challenge and think it was a lot of fun. Posting everyday was hard but that'll teach me to procrastinate haha. 

I'm kind of debating going back to some of my original features but I'm not sure at this point. I guess you'll just have to come back and see through out the week! (;

Weekly Recap 2/16 - 2/22

Hello lovelies!

I'm back today with another weekly recap!


Another week with a ton of nails!! Woo! I've kept up so far, I just need to push through this last week of February. I've been painting my nails all day so hopefully I can at least get the first half of this week's nails done. I hope you're all ready for some awesomeness though!

This was another week where I'm happy with what went up on the blog. There were a lot of fun manicures and I finally got to do Dalek nails!!! Gah! I can't even pick a favorite for this week because I liked so many of them. I'm also super proud of my indie swatches, I definitely think I'm improving with them! We're also coming up on the final week of the Nail-Art-A-Go-Go challenge D: I'm actually going to be super sad, I think this challenge has really pushed me to try harder and I'll miss that.

Weekly Recap 2/9 - 2/15

Hello lovelies! 

I'm back again with another weekly recap!



I'm still keeping up with all my challenges! Woo! I don't think anyone understands how happy that makes me! I've pretty much been painting all of designs on Friday and Saturday because I don't have time during the week, but I'm still holding on!! And I'm super happy with everything that went up on the blog this week :D

This upcoming week will be filled with more challenge nails and my Friday indie swatches. The Nail-Art-A-Go-Go challenge is entering into it's Art History stage, which not only brings back bad memories of my Art History classes (these were absolute torture) but means that the prompts are getting harder! I really had to think about a lot of these upcoming themes and I haven't even painted some of them yet….whoops.

Weekly Recap 2/2 - 2/8

Hello lovelies!

It's time for a recap!


Oh my. I showed you guys 13 different manicures this week and wrote 11 posts….and I loved every minute of it! I'm having a lot of fun with the Nail-Art-A-Go-Go challenge! It's pretty challenging but I like being pushed to try new things. I'm also really happy with the nails I did for the FingerFood Theme Buffet this week and the Golden Oldie Thursdays challenge :D

For this upcoming week on the blog, I'll be continuing on with all the challenges! I'm still ahead on painting my nails, I'm falling a bit behind but I'm still pushing through. The Nail-Art-A-Go-Go is entering it's Art 101 phase, which means that things get a whole lot more complicated. I'm excited!

Weekly Recap 1/26 - 2/1

Hello lovelies!

I'm back with another weekly review for you all!


I think this is the most I've ever posted on the blog before, 8 posts, holy poop. (Yes, I said poop!). This past week was full of some really fun nail art in my opinion! A lot of you loved my glitter bomb that I did for the FingerFood Theme Buffet on Sunday. I was super proud of my Music Monday post and I'm happy with my reinvention of crackle polish!

I also started another challenge yesterday, which is the Nail-Art-A-Go-Go challenge! This is my first challenge that posts every single day for entire month! I'm still going to partake in the FingerFood Theme Buffet, I'm pushing my posts to Mondays though, the Tri-Polish Challenge,  Golden Oldie Thursday posts, and my Indie Fridays! I'm nervous that I might have bitten off more than I can chew but I painted a lot of nails this weekend so I'm back on track!
