Hello lovelies!
Who else is happy that this week is halfway over? I know I am! Yesterday was so much fun but it was so long and I know today will be another long one. There's less than 2 weeks left in this semester though! Gah, I'm going to be a senior next year....when did that happen?
Anywho, onto the nails!
I don't really know what I was going for with these nails but I like them!
More after the jump:
Here's what I used:
My untried for today is Cult Nails Grunge! This is a really awesome army greenish color, I have a few similar polishes like these in my stash but I know this one has the best formula.
These nails started off with 2 coats of Grunge. I actually wore it plain to my mock presentation this past Monday, I learned my lesson from the overly glittery toe nail polish and went more conservative haha. Needless to say, I was a bit sad since I didn't have any cool design to look down at but I fixed it later by taping off the triangles and sponging on the gradient. I then added the studs!
I'm not really sure why my gradient looks all speckle-y on some of my fingers but I kind of like it! These nails are different for me but I think they're a good different. A little change never hurt (:
Here are the upcoming themes:
And a song for today:
Eisley - Smarter
Thanks for reading guys!
-Marisa! (:
I love that gradient triangle! And that stud finishes it off! Well done!
ReplyDeleteThank you!! (:
Deletethis is so cool and different!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks! (:
DeleteCongrats on being nearly done with school! Hang in there, you can do it :) Everything about this look I love! It's very edgy, but super modern. Very cool!
ReplyDeleteHaha thanks, one more week!
DeleteThat gradient triangle looks AMAZING. Love it!
ReplyDeleteJust a little bit longer and you'll be done for the semester! You can do it! (And out of curiosity, what happened with the glittery toe nail polish? I must have missed that!)
Thank you!! And I know! I'm excited, more time for nail things!
DeleteHaha so for one of my classes, we're "mock" working with a client (I'm in school for graphic design). I have blue glitter polish on my toes and during my group's initial interview with the "client" I was wearing sandals. I caught my professor/client staring at my feet which are also covered in tattoos! So, we got a few points off for professionalism and I have a feeling that that was why haha. Whoops!
