I have something exciting for you today! This is my first real review post! I was so honored (and shocked) when Alice asked me if she could send me some polishes. You all know that I've always struggled with the photographing of my nails so the fact that someone trusts me enough to let me photograph their polishes is an awesome feeling!
Anyways, I'm going to show you part one of the Squishy Face Polish 2014 Spring collection today and the rest tomorrow! Warning: This will be picture heavy (;
I'm going to start this post off with the polish Ciao Bella!
More after the jump:
Ciao Bella is a pale pink polish with a lovely purple shimmer that completely hid when I photographed this in my light box. I'm showing you 2 coats of the polish on its own. This polish had an awesome formula for this color! I normally have issues with nude polishes but this one was great.
This isn't a polish that I normally would wear but the addition of the purple shimmer in it makes this one special. I can imagine myself wearing this to a real interview! (I wore a glittery polish to my mock-up interview and got points off for being unprofessional.....whoops).
Here's a bonus picture under a direct light to show you guys the shimmer!
Next up is Far, Far Away!
Far, Far Away is a muted, purple, holo polish with some added glitters. Once again, this is only 2 coats of the polish on its own. This polish too had an awesome formula that was really easy to work with!
The holo flash in this polish is subtle but under a direct light, you can definitely see it. Holo polishes are starting to grow on me and this a great addition to my collection! The added glitters do make the polish look a little gritty but its nothing a top coat can't fix. I used HK Girl Fast Drying Top Coat for all my swatches and didn't see any effect to the holo.
Here's another bonus photo to show the holo awesomeness! This is really pretty!
Next is Unteal The End Of Time!
Okay, seriously, the name of this polish is hands down amazing! Haha. Unteal The End Of Time is a teal polish with a linear holographic finish. I probably should have just put this in the beginning of the post but this is 2 coats on its own. And you guessed it, this had a great formula!
This polish is one of my favorites from the entire collection! The color of this is just amazing and I don't have anything like it in my collection. The holo flash is awesome under the right light too. I definitely recommend you go buy this polish....like now!
And a bonus shot to show the holo-ness:
And last but not least is No Space & Time!
No Space & Time is an amazing royal blue crelly filled with a ton of different glitters. There are stars and circles and squares and hexes and basically anything you could ever imagine! This is 2 coats of the polish on its own! Yep, you read that right, 2 coats! The formula was great and the glitters are suspended really well.
This was my definite favorite of this half of the collection! The color is just beautiful and the formula was amazing. I have nothing even remotely close to negative to say about this polish. This is another polish that you need to go order right away!
Here are some macros:
I feel like all I did was manically rave throughout this whole review but seriously, these polishes were all awesome and I had no issues with any of them. I have nothing like any of these in my collection so they are all welcome additions! All of these are available up on Alice's site and all of her polishes range from $8-$9 a bottle. She just released some awesome new polishes too so make sure to check those out! Here are some of her links:
And another song for you all:
The Naked And The Famous - Young Blood
Thank you guys so much for reading guys and check back tomorrow for part 2!
