I'm back again with another post as I promised! I decided to keep showing you guys my indie polishes while the Nail-Art-A-Go-Go challenge goes on because I like writing these posts and I want to improve my swatching.
So, today I'm back with more polishes from Sick Lacquers!
Onto the polish!
This first polish is called Graffiti.
More after the jump:
All the polishes that I'm showing you today are glitter toppers. I also want to note now that I own mini bottles of all these polishes and they're quite old. I had to place all my bottles upside before using and swirl the glitter around every few fingers. If you were to buy these now, chances are the formulas would be fantastic.
Graffiti is a cleared based topper filled with matte glitters. There are blue, purple, white, and black glitters in various shapes including hexes, bars, and squares. I showing 1 coat here over 2 coats of American Apparel's Echo Park.
This is the polish I've used the most out of all my Sick Lacquers so I had a bit of trouble getting the glitter out. I think this polish is a lot of fun though!
Next up is Aqua Blue Moon,
Aqua Blue Moon has a lightly blue tinted base and is filled with teal glitters and some silver, hex glitters. This polish has micro glitters, moons, and bar glitters! This is 1 coat over Zoya's Natty.
I did have to fish to get the moons out of the bottle, but this could because I have a mini bottle. For me personally, I think this glitter is lacking something. The overall appearance of it is just not doing it for me, maybe because the glitters are all 1 color? Also, I'm not a huge fan of shaped glitter but I like the moons here! I probably could have done without the bars though.
Last up is Morning Snow,
This is 1 coat of Morning Snow over 2 coats of Zoya's Hunter. This polish has what appear to be flakes, small blue glitters, and white squares.
I'm in love with this polish and this is my favorite of all of my Sick Lacquers. I always thought this one was kind of meh in the bottle and I always layered it over light colors, but once layered over something dark this one comes to life! I'm so mad that my camera refused to photograph this one well!
I don't have any macros for you guys today, sorry. Overall, I really liked Graffiti and Morning Snow is my absolute favorite. Like I might need to go buy a full sized bottle right now! All 3 of these are available in the Sick Lacquers' store, which has a ton of different polishes, so I definitely recommend a look around! Here are some links:
