31 Day Challenge 2015: Half & Half

Hello lovelies!

You guys will be so proud to know that I only bought one Zoya polish yesterday after work! I've never seen Jules before and it was sparkly, so it came home with me. I was so proud of myself until I found out about the Cult Nails liquidating sale and I bought six....whoops. The few polishes that I have from the brand are such a great quality though that I couldn't miss the chance to try a few more. I'm definitely going to miss the brand /:

Anywho, onto today's nails!

Is this my first zebra print manicure? It wasn't my intention but it's what it looks like, so yeah. Zebra print!

Here's what I used:

My idea for today's "half & half" theme was to take this pattern and cut it in half basically. I was aiming for having part of my nail be warm colors and contrast it with cooler colors. I'm not exactly sure how successful these turned out.

These nails started with two coats of Hazard. When that dried, I used a makeup sponge to add some Pippa and Arizona. I then used the bottle brush and Rocky to paint a wavy line of blue on the bottom half of my nail. I sponged Ogre-The-Top Blue and Blu over that, and sealed everything with a layer of HK Girl. I then used acrylic paint and my detail brush to add on the little stripes. That was followed with another layer of HK Girl.

I don't know. These nails just aren't doing it for me. They turned out alright but I don't think could I have worn these for very long. What do you guys think? Would you wear these? Let me know!
