31 Day Challenge: Red Base

Hello lovelies!

Can you believe that it's already Friday? We're getting down to the end of my winter break and honestly, it's freaking me out. One more semester and then I'm down with college....weird....and I totally had a different introduction in my head for this post but I'm just going to leave that.

Onto the nails!

I think I finally found a red polish that I actually like wearing! Read below to find out what it is (:

Here's what I used:

I don't even know how long I've had Lullaby Without End for, but it's been sitting in my melmer untried since I bought it. This makes me so sad because I really like it! My mom did too which is crazy because we rarely agree on nail polish colors.

These nails started with two coats of Lullaby Without End and a layer of HK Girl. I then my detail brush to freehand on the large dots. When those dried, I went back in with the same brush and my black acrylic paint to add on the details. Everything was sealed in with another layer of HK Girl.

The inspiration for these nails was this rug that I found on Pinterest. I ended up just making up designs for inside of the circles because I couldn't fit all of the detail from the original. Regardless, I loved these nails a lot!

Thanks for reading guys!

  15. I think I have like two red polishes that I can stand to wear now haha! I generally stay away from anything on the warm color side, so we're making steps forward!
