Today's post is going to be quick because I need to go to bed!
So, onto the nails!
I have no idea why I wanted clouds on my nails but I did, so now I have cloud nail art to show you guys (:
Here's what I used:
This week's theme for the N.A.I.L. was our favorite indie. There's absolutely no way that I could ever pick a favorite indie polish because they're all so pretty! So, I decided that I would chose a favorite indie brand and then just a random polish from there. I ended up doing with with Lucky 13 Lacquer (who just made an Instagram....btw) and I picked out You Can't Take The Sky From Me because it was an untried.
These nails started with three coats of YCTTKFM. Or maybe two? I honestly don't remember, whoops! Then using the detail brush and the acrylic paint, I freehanded on the clouds. Everything was sealed in with a layer of HK Girl.
I feel like these nails are backwards....if the sky was dark, then the clouds would be dark....but if it was sunny out and rainy, the sky would be bright and the clouds would still be dark? Maybe? My mom said these looked like a cow so there's that. At least the polish is pretty!
