Hello lovelies!
Late post today. Meh! I fell asleep before I did my homework last night and have spent most of today finishing everything. I have a little time before my last class though so here's a post!
Onto the nails!
I think painting wavy lines might actually be harder than painting straight lines because these took a while!
Here's what I used:
Today's nail art was loosely inspired by this pattern by Barbara Brown. I've really been into looking at different patterns from the 60s-70s lately and I constantly want to paint them on my nails...so you might want to prepare for that haha!
These nails started with two coats of Gothic Gala Lacquers's Rust and a layer of HK Girl. Then using my striping brush and the acrylic paints, I freehanded on the wavy pattern. I didn't worry about the stripes lining up as they went across my nails and just painted them randomly. Everything was cleaned up and sealed in with a layer of HK Girl.
Despite how long these took, I love how they look! The color combination is my favorite part of these and I'm loving my new polishes from Gothic Gala Lacquers. Shout out to Narmai from PiggiLuv for an awesome giveaway and introducing me to a new brand (:
Thanks for reading guys!
-Marisa! (:
