FingerFood Theme Buffet: Music

Hello lovelies!

I have a quick post for you guys today because I have class at 7:45 this morning....yeah, you read that right. 7:45 and I'll still be in the same class when this post goes live. I'm not a morning person so this is going to take some getting used to...

But, onto the nails!

Brownie points to whoever guesses what album cover I painted here. And a lot of them because I feel like a lot of people don't know of this band which is sad because they're awesome!

Here's what I used:

Okay, so that question was a bit of trick because this band technically isn't around anymore. The album cover that I recreated is Now, Now Every Children's Cars. I say technically not around anymore because some of the band members are still together, they just write music and tour under the name Now, Now now....yep, you read that write too haha! Here's the album art:

These nails started with 2 coats of Sally Hansen's Black Out. Then using a ripped up piece of make-up sponge, I lightly sponged on White On. The lines were added on using acrylic paint and my small detail brush. When those had dried, which was super quick because of the paint, I lightly sponged on some more Black Out. Everything was sealed in with a layer of HK Girl.

My nails aren't spot on for the album cover but I still think they look really cool. I wish I could have worn these longer but I'm super behind on painting nails for my posts soooo yeah haha. The photos look better today too! Woo!
