Hello lovelies!
Sorry about today's post being up later than normal but I fell asleep last night before I could write it. But good news, I don't have classes on Tuesdays! Woo!
But let's get to the nails!
Here's what I used:
I finally figured out how to make this month's colors work without looking like it belongs in an elementary school classroom! Or it could just be the fact that I'm in love with this blue polish because of all the sparkles....but hey, whatever works (:
These nails started with 3 coats of Pipe Dream Polish's Rhythm And Blues. I then painted on the white triangles using Sally Hansen's White On and a small detail brush. When that had dried, I painted on the yellow and then the red. I used acrylic paint for the red because I was nervous about how well the polish would layer over the base, but the acrylic paint didn't cover all that well either.
I actually really liked these nails! This is only my 2nd time doing ikat nails but I love how they look. These were the nails that I wore to the first day of classes yesterday!
