Ello!
How was everyone's weekend? I'm writing this post in advance again since I'm out of town but I'm thinking that my weekend was great....Pretty sure that sentence references the past, present, and future tense? Uhm, right. Maybe. This is a nail blog. I don't know what grammar is...
Anywho, onto the nails!
Cats! :3
Here's what I used:
I finally bought one of the new Triple Shine polishes from Sally Hansen! I think this is my favorite bottle shape from them. I haven't tried the polish on its own yet but its great for nail art!
So, I had no idea what to do for today's theme. I don't watch cartoons, I don't read comics, and I wasn't feeling very inspired by anything I found on Pinterest. But I found this cartoonish cat pattern (here) so I decided to do it because I mean, come on, cats are adorable!
I'm not super happy with how my cats came out. It's been a while since I played with acrylic paint and I think it shows here but this inspired more freehand manicures coming up later in the week so keep your eyes open for those! I also ordered new nail art brushes which should be here on Monday and I'm super excited for those!
We're currently gathering ideas for the next round of themes coming up in the challenge. If you'd like to join and contribute some ideas, check out this Facebook group!
And a song for today:

I love these: they're so adorable. The lack of practice you mentioned looks as if it was done intentionally and looks great, in my opinion. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you! Shoot me an email or leave me a link if you do try them. I'd love to see them! (:
