Ello!
I'm back with my N.A.I.L. linkup post for the week! Sadly, this is the current length of my nails /: I broke a nail on my first day back at work and figured it would be better to just file them all down so they won't break anymore. I miss my long nails but I don't want to keep growing them out to have them break. I have a bunch of posts already prepared with my long nails but then it's nubs for the rest of summer.
Blah! Lots of dramatics on the blog today, woof. Onto the nails!
I've been blogging for close to a year now and this is my first time ever doing leopard nails...Whoops!
Here's what I used:
These are the first nails I've painted on my nubs and I wanted something sparkly to make myself feel better. I did like looking at these and they made me smile so I guess it was a success!
These nails started with 2 coats of China Glaze's Lotus Begin and I then sponged the gradient on with Zoya's Payton. The leopard spots were made by making irregular blobs and then surrounding them with the black. Everything was topped off with Fairy Dust.
I do wish that I had added some just black spots in between the bigger spots because these seem a little bare to me but it's probably better that I stopped while I was ahead. I'm not sure why I've always avoided leopard nails but I really like these so leopard print might start showing up more!
Here are the themes for June:
