Golden Oldie Thursdays: Gradient

Ello lovelies!

It's time for a Golden Oldie Thursdays post which will also be my last. The challenge is continuing on and you can join this Facebook group to keep up with it but I won't be following it anymore. I have plans to join other challenges in July and I can't keep up with all of them so something had to give. I promise that'll remember to show my old polishes some love every once in a while though!

Anywho, moving on from my farewell speech...

This is my favorite color blue to wear on my nails!

Here's what I used:

My camera kind of changed the color of Endless Blue as I don't remember it being this bright in real life but it's still a pretty color. This polish still stinks though! I guess that some blue pigments in polish smell really bad? For me, the color is worth the smell!

For my gradient nails, I wanted to do something other than just a normal gradient so I decided to recreate my triangle gradient nails that I did a while back! These started with 2 coats of Endless Blue. When that dried, I taped off the triangles and used a makeup sponge to add the glitter gradient. I finished with the 2 neon studs and a layer of top coat.

These nails are my idea of summer nails. They're bright and glittery which are my favorite things! Even though I don't like summer.....it's too hot, I don't like it....yeah, weird, whatever.

  1. That's a cool effect you got with the glitter gradient. It looks like its raining from one stud to another.
