FingerFood Theme Buffet: Cocktail Nails

Hello lovelies!

Hopefully you all had a lovely weekend! I'm heading home from my little trip today so I'm writing this post in advance but I'm sure my weekend was great haha (:

Anywho, onto the nails!

I tried a different watermarble for these nails and I think it looks super cool!

Here's what I used:

I've really been loving Zoya polishes lately and have been using them in almost all of my manicures! All of the ones that I've tried water marbling with lately have worked pretty well which I love.

Today's theme was Cocktail Nails which I didn't really know what that meant. Supposedly, the intention was to do nails based off of a cocktail but I read that after I did the nails based off of this Cocktail Nail "guide" (here). I guess it's your thumb, index, and middle fingers are all painted special and then the other two nails are supposed to compliment it? Because those nails show when you hold a cocktail? Maybe? Eh...Have I mentioned I'm only 20?

Regardless, of the cocktail hoopla or whatever. I like these nails! The different water marble technique looks cool and I like the contrast of the bright colors against the black, sparkly polish!

Here are the remaining themes:

And a song for today:

Thanks for reading guys!

  1. Gorgeous watermarble! You should know by now that however you interpret a theme for this challenge is fine. It's part of the fun to see how others let themselves inspire by the theme *winks*

  10. Love it! I would have never thought to put those colors together, but it works <3 And your water marble turned out AMAZING. Every time I attempt to marble, it turns out miserable. Maybe I'll try it with some of my Zoyas next time!
