I'm back with another post for you guys. This one is all about some Parallax Polish nail art! Let's get right to the nails!
Just like yesterday, I'll start this post off with Neon! I'm not really sure what I was going for with these but I wanted to create a base that would contrast against the bright glitters. I think I was attempting to do a horizontal gradient with the glitter but because there is more base than glitter, I just ended up sponging the glitter on randomly.
This look started with two coats of Sally Hansen's Black Out. I then dabbed some of Sinful Shine's Wisp on each nail and spread the color around with a brush dipped in acetone. When that had dried, I used a makeup sponge to add on some of the glitter! Everything was sealed in with a layer of HK Girl.
Next up is Marilee!
Marilee looks like it'll be a great base for some galaxy nail art, which I'll definitely have to try that theory out soon. So, when I came across this pattern that reminded me of constellations, I figured I'd give it a go!
These nails started with three coats of Marilee and a layer of HK Girl. I then used white acrylic paint and my striping brush to paint on the designs. I went back in and added a little dot with a detail brush at each of the intersections. Everything was sealed in with another layer of HK Girl.
Last up is Geocentricity!
My thoughts for this nail art design were that geometric and Geocentricity both share "geo" in the name, so I decided to paint some geometric nail art. It's a total stretch but it looks cool so go with it! I've also been wanting to paint this design on my nails for a really long time and this seemed like a good opportunity to finally do it.
These nails started with three coats of Geocentricity and a layer of HK Girl. Then using my striping brush and white acrylic paint, I painted on the lines. Everything was sealed in with another layer of HK Girl.
I also have a photo of when the polish was in its warm stage.
I hope you guys have enjoyed this post and these nail art looks. I think the polishes inspired some really great designs! If you're look for plain swatches and purchasing information, please check my swatch post from yesterday or go to any of the following links!:
