Hello lovelies!
How is everyone doing today? I had a snow day today because of the snow storm that hit the East Coast but I don't think we actually got much snow...they cancelled today's classes yesterday because everyone thought we were going to get a lot.....but I don't know, I slept all day and didn't go outside....so....yeah, if you did get hit with a lot of snow, please stay safe!
And here's some nail art to make you smile!
Bright colors to the rescue!!
Here's what I used:
Today's theme is to recreate an old manicure. One of the first challenges that I took part in when I joined the Crumpet's Nail Tarts group was the 33 Day Challenge. I went through my old manicures that I did for that, stumbled upon this design, and decided to repaint it!
These nails started with two coats of Zuza and a layer of Glossy Glam! I then used my acrylic paint and striping brush to paint the stripes on. When the outlines were done, I took the different polishes and a detail brush (not pictured) and filled in the gaps. I retraced the black lines and added on another layer of Glossy Glam.
Here's a comparison:
Recreating old manicures is still one of my favorite things to do! It's a lot of fun to see how much you've improved as a nail artist and blogger. Not only did my line work get better but my photos and hand poses look so different! Do you like revisiting old designs?
Thanks for reading guys!
-Marisa! (:
