Nail-Art-A-Go-Go: Day 25 - Watercolor

Hello lovelies!

I promise I didn't forgot about you guys!! I accidentally fell asleep last night after my night class and doing laundry (I did my 2nd presentation too, and I think it went pretty well for finishing it at 3:30am the night before haha!). But I fell asleep before midnight and ended up sleeping until my alarm went off for class today! Great for me, bad for my homework and writing posts. Oh well, I'm back now! And my afternoon class was cancelled so yay, time for the blog!

And that was a big rant, sorry! Nail time!

More abstract nails and I love these ones too!

More after the jump:

Here's what I used:

These nails started with 3 coats of OPI's My Vampire Is My. I then dabbed on random combinations of my blues and purples and using the watercolor technique I spread the colors out with acetone. I then used the water spotted technique with My Vampire Is Buff!

I really love how my index and middle finger came out but not so much with my index and pinky. I use my hair heat protectant spray for my water spotting and I did the 1st 2 nails and I ran out of spray! Seriously?! So I tried using a different one but the different brand spray reacted differently. I think I'll just have to play around with the new spray or buy a back-up bottle of the old one.

Regardless, I do really like these nails! I think the colors all look so pretty together (:

Here's the remaining themes:

And a song:
A Rocket To The Moon - Not A Second To Waste

Thanks for reading and check back sometime later for my Tri-Polish Challenge post….I should probably write that one…..

  1. I love how these came out. The combination of watercolor and the water spotting techniques looks so interesting!
