Hello lovelies!
We're closing in on the final week of the 31 Day Challenge! Gah, I still can't believe that it's almost over.
Anyways, onto the nails!
I was kind of lazy when picking my inspiration for today's nails but hey, I like my patterns, I can't help it!
Here's what I used:
Today's theme was to be "inspired by a book" but since the only books I've read recently are Jurassic Park, a graphic design research book, and I'm in the middle of Nails: The Story Behind The Modern Manicure, I was feeling kind of stuck for ideas. So instead, I found a noteBOOK in my desk that had a cool pattern on it and painted that!
These nails started with two coats of Zoya Neely and a layer of HK Girl. I then used the acrylic paint and the detail brush to paint on the design. Everything was sealed in with another layer of HK Girl.
Here's a bonus shot with the notebook.
I like this pattern but I'm not sure it translates that well as nail art. On the nails, it doesn't seem to fit together but I think the ring finger is just throwing me off because that's my least favorite nail. I love how the little flower turned out though!
Thanks for reading guys!
-Marisa! (:
