Now, that the 31 Day Challenge is over I actually have to think about what I'm going to post haha. Uhm, well, I have my nail art for the FingerFood Theme Buffet for you guys today, and tomorrow I'll have a review of some polishes from another new-to-me indie! By next week, I hope to get back into my old blogging routine.
But until then, onto today's nails!
I'm in total autumn/fall nail art mode so I hope you guys are ready!
Here's what I used:
Okay so completely random tangent that has no relevance to this post, but I realized that I've already posted 362 times this year.....and it's only October....when did that happen?! Uhhhh, whoops, go big or go home? That's a thing, right? Haha meh.
Back to the nail art! Today's nails are my recreation of this pattern by Eloise Renouf, which I just posted a different design that I recreated from her for the Lacquer Legion. She seems to have a lot of autumn inspired prints and they're all lovely! But these nails started with two coats of Nyssa. Then using a detail brush (not pictured) I painted the colored blobs on for the trees, I added a layer of HK Girl after this step. Then using my striping brush and the acrylic paint, I added the branches to the trees. Everything was sealed with another layer of HK Girl.
These nails make me want sweater weather! It's been decent recently but it's still too warm for me to rock my crew necks all the time. Lame. I really liked these nails though and I was able to wear one of my new Zoya polishes!
The FingerFood Theme Buffet is taking a break after this week that will last until the beginning of next year. I'm kind of sad that we won't be posting as a group but this will free up time for people to post more seasonal/holiday manicures as we move through the rest of the year. So, I hope you enjoyed this last post for the challenge!
