Hello lovelies!
Guess who has gotten really good at multi-tasking!...overnight...Like so good that I got like 5 manicures done, edited all the photos, and wrote today's posts all while watching 7+ episodes of Criminal Minds! #productive
Oh, and I hit 1000 Instagram followers yesterday! It still shocks me that so many of you are interested in what I do here and continue to read/look at the photos. I can't thank you guys enough!<3
Anywho, onto the nails!
Brownie points to whoever can guess what fruit these nails were inspired by!
Here's what I used:
Okay, so if you don't know, I did nails inspired by a Kiwano/Horned Melon! I guess it's a fruit native to Africa? Maybe, I know we sell these at my job....in Central New York...so....fancy!
These nails started with 2 coats of Francis and some topcoat. I used some more green polishes and the watercolor nail art technique to create the base. The seeds were free handed on with Neely. And finally, I used a striping brush to add the outline.
I've never done fruit nails before but I do think they're perfect for summer! Even if these don't really look like the actual fruit, I like the colors used. The bright green and orange-y/yellow combo will be seen again!
Here's the challenge graphic:
Thanks for reading guys!

ReplyDeleteAccording to google, it tastes like a "combination of banana, melon, cucumber, and lime?" Sounds interesting. But thank you!
